I brought my 9 yr old long haired cat in to get groomed (for hot summer months) and was VERY nervous. She's never been groomed before. The fact that they said she did so good is nothing but a KUDOS to them!! She was done in an hour an a half, which was great!! She didn't even meow on the way home in the car... haha. I was surprised that I was able to get an appointment right away and their communication was spot on. The store is on the smaller side but they have a room in the back(?) for animals to be in 🙂 They also have a mini-shelter going on with kittens that are rescued. All of they kittens are so gorgeous and sweet you guys should definitely check them out! Adoption is only $130! As for the flea treatment it was $65 (4mo kitten with short hair) but the price can change depending on the size and fur length. This is actually very affordable since I called a different shop and they were going to charge me a whooping $120!! The employees were SUPER sweet and kind the entire time. For what I know it's only appointment based right now so you can call and check out a spot. Once your furbaby is good to go, they will call you to pick em up! Any way, I regularly board my cat here. Only once did I board my cat at another "fancy" cat-only facility, and my cat came home kind of traumatized. Now, it's Claws N Paws exclusively for my cat. Not many places take cats and these guys do and they groom them so well! I've taken my medium hair here for a defleaing grooming session and for a cut with grooming and he always looks and feels fresh! The shampoo they use smells very clean and it lasts for over a week! My short hair tabby is usually very scared of baths but they were able to groom her very well and reported that she was well behaved! Great place, reasonable prices! read less
